Rasha Anwar

Hi everyone,

My name is Rasha and I’m very excited to meet you all. I absolutely love English as a language and enjoy teaching it. Over the years, I have seen for myself how far it can get you in life.

I’ve been teaching adults and children since 2006. I‘ve taught students from countries such as China, Japan, Nepal, Croatia, Columbia, Uganda, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, and Morocco. I’ve also trained teachers from the United States.

In addition to that, I have a Bachelor's degree in English language and literature, and I’m a CELTA holder, which means I’m an internationally certified teacher by Cambridge University.

I've spoken at multiple international conferences and taught a range of courses including general English, conversation, accent neutralization and business English. I’m also an IELTS examiner and a Pearson PTE Certified Trainer, which allows me to assist students aiming to sit for tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, OET, and PTE.

I enjoy connecting with each one of my students and take the time to get to know them and find common grounds and interests. I prioritize making learning fun and interactive and encourage my students to be creative and express themselves with confidence. It’s also important for me to create a safe learning environment in which my students can receive constructive feedback and make progress. Ultimately, my goal for each one of my students is that they become an independent learner.

In my leisure time, I enjoy learning new things, travelling, spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, and taking care of my pets.
