You know the grammar, you understand when you read, but the moment you have to speak, you freeze? I get it, because that’s exactly what’s happening to me with Italian right now.

My name is Riad. I studied English for years until I reached C1 level (IELTS certified) and I’ve used it for studying and working. Today I live in Siena, where I’m doing a master’s, and I’m learning a new language every day: that’s why I know well what it feels like to make mistakes, search for words and try again.

How I work: in the first lesson we talk together about your goals and your level, with no rush and no stressful tests. Then we build a tailor-made path, with topics you’re really interested in, because you learn better when you talk about things that matter to you. I correct you kindly, explain the most common mistakes and give you small exercises to do between lessons. If you need it, I can also help you prepare for an interview, a presentation or an exam. I don’t promise miracles, but I promise effort, clarity and lots of practice, step by step, until you feel more confident and at ease.
