Richard Ivey

Hello! I'm Richard, a native English speaker from the UK, currently living in Milan.

I am passionate about teaching English and helping people develop the confidence to communicate naturally and comfortably in everyday situations.

I specialise in teaching children and teenagers, and I currently work in a private school in Milan. I also enjoy helping adults of all ages improve their English, whatever their current level or learning goals.

My lessons cover all aspects of English, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and speaking. I place particular importance on conversation and teaching students how native English speakers actually communicate in everyday life, including natural expressions and commonly used phrases.

I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, engaging and supportive, creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable practising, making mistakes and building their confidence.
