Rizwan Ahmed

With over 20 years of academic experience, including a long-standing role as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics, I bring deep subject expertise and a strong track record of student success.
I did my undergraduate with Statistics and Economics. I also did MS Economics. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Circular Economy in Italy. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of mathematical and statistical courses at undergraduate level. My academic experience includes curriculum development, classroom instruction, mentoring, and research supervision—skills that translate seamlessly into the online learning environment.
In 2011, I started online tutoring for students ranging from Grade 7 through undergraduate Level, covering key qualifications such as O Level Mathematics, A Level Statistics, GCSEs & IGCSE and American & Canadian Curriculum. At the undergraduate level, I teach College Algebra, Calculus, Geometry and Trigonometry. I also teach Applied Mathematics and Statistics for Business. I tailor my sessions to the learner’s specific needs, combining conceptual clarity with practical problem-solving strategies. I also completed a certificate course “Learn to teach online” from UNSW Sydney, Australia.
