With 3 years of teaching experience both in class and in a chat room you can expect from me an entertaining and engaging lesson. I focus more on practical English skills rather than theoretical English skills meaning we will be using the grammar, vocabulary, or expressions taught. As well as developing an English thinking brain, I like to encourage my students to stop translating everything into their native language. My objective is to show you tools and tricks to better understand the language and how it’s used. I have experience in lesson planning and preparing classroom materials, this includes catering the tasks according to my student’s needs. In my lessons I’ll give live feedback and constructive criticism while we discuss various topics in English. The most important element of studying English to me is full immersion. My objective is to create an environment where you as the student will feel comfortable and confident to not only use English but to interpret it in your own way, allowing for a greater exploration of the language and hence a deeper knowledge of its nuances. Exercises from my lessons will range from simple gap-fill activities to comprehensive reading or writing task. The sky is the limit and we’re just getting started. I encourage my students to come to class with a question or topic in mind in order for me to help them along their journey. Even if you’re a shy student and you prefer to do more listening than talking then no worries. I’m an absolute chatter box and will happily discuss any topic presented, I might just chew your ear off.
