As a great fan of languages, after graduating in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation in Italy, I moved to Northern Ireland and later to the Netherlands to continue my studies in the field of teaching (University degree in International Teacher Education). I had the opportunity to work in several international schools located in Spain and Belgium, where I acquired the necessary skills to teach English and French to students of all ages, from elementary school to obtaining a high school diploma. Thanks to theoretical studies, I learned concepts of childhood and adolescence psychology and specialized in contextualized active learning, making my lessons more effective, fun and interesting. My holistic approach, according to which the student's psychophysical well-being is the basis of learning, in fact follows the hierarchical scale of human needs (also known as the Maslow pyramid). This allows me to establish a relationship of trust and mutual respect with the students, who feel valued and listened to. In this way, their motivation increases and consequently also their academic results.
