I hold a BA in French and English Languages and Literatures and an MA in Cognitive Linguistics, which was fully taught in English. My academic education was complemented by two Erasmus stays in francophone countries (Switzerland and France), where I perfected my proficiency in French and my intercultural communication skills.
Throughout my university years, I have made friends from all over the world, and it is always a pleasure for me to interact with people from different countries and cultures.
My teaching methodology is interactive and highly adaptable to each student’s needs, objectives, and interests. In general, I do not limit myself to grammar books, but try to integrate multimodal resources such as videos and music to make the learning experience more fun and effective. I aim to cover all aspects of language learning, from grammar and vocabulary to developing comprehension and production skills (both written and oral).
Being a Linguistics graduate, I have a broad understanding of how languages are structured. Thus, whenever possible, I will often draw comparisons with the student’s native language(s). This should make it easier for them to understand and grasp new concepts.
