Ssentongo Richard Ssentongo

Hello! I am Richard, a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with over 5 years of professional industry experience building scalable applications. Alongside my development career, I spent a year working as a dedicated Peer-to-Peer Technical Mentor at Refactory. This unique combination allows me to bring real-world programming expertise directly into our virtual classroom, showing you how things are actually done in tech companies.
I specialize in teaching a wide range of modern technologies, including Python, Django, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and mobile app development using Flutter and React Native. Because programming can feel overwhelming at first, my teaching philosophy relies on a highly structured, project-based approach. We won't just look at theory; we will build actual web and mobile applications step by step.
My lessons are completely customized around your specific goals. If you are a high school or university student struggling with assignments or an exam, we can break down complex data structures and algorithms together. If you are an adult looking to make a career switch into tech, I will help you master full-stack software development from the absolute basics up to preparing your portfolio for job interviews.
I offer all my programming classes completely online, creating a highly interactive learning environment using code-sharing tools and live troubleshooting. I am deeply passionate about helping students discover the logic behind clean code and watching them build their first fully functional applications. No matter your current experience level, I am here to guide you. Let’s connect and start coding together!
