Middle School Science and Maths professor (in English language), STEM Ambassador & previously Scientific Consultant with 9 years professional experience in the Energy sector and 6 years Teaching experience. Qualified Level 3 Learning and Supporting Teaching in Schools (LSA) and trained Cover supervisor (@ secondary level education) with academic experience (PhD carried out within the activities of the multidisciplinary Italian National Research Project PRIN, 2007).

My academic experience includes working as Graduate teaching assistant mentoring University students (Laboratory of Palinology), supporting them in the preparation of their thesis (MSc students @ Cagliari University).

Throughout my life, my work experiences have always involved working within a team-based culture.
This includes planning, coordination, flexibility, responsibility, determination, resilience and high commitment.

Professional experience in the Energy industry includes the stratigraphy of the Black and Caspian Sea, North Sea, West of Shetland, Norwegian North Sea, South China, Morocco, Trinidad, Suriname, French Guiana, Mozambique, Angola, Cote d'Ivoire, Turkey, Germany, Albania, Romania, Mauritania, the Central-western Mediterranean basin (Sardinia, Calabria, Sicily, Malta). Particular expertise in the Tertiary palynostratigraphy.
This experience includes single and multi wells and outcrop studies, integrated multidisciplinary and palaeoenvironmental interpretation and reconstruction providing Range Chart/Plates (Stratabugs, BugWin).

My key skills include: technical writing (report writing and academic journals), interactive science teaching, mentoring junior staff, data entry and analysis, project reporting and keeping students updated on STEM research international projects, liaising across departments and with clients/external stakeholders, approaching my work with energy and enthusiasm.
