My experience in spatial modeling and data analysis has allowed me to think logically about a problem, whether it is solving a simple algebraic equation or interpreting complex statistical data. I want to help you break down those intimidating concepts into simple steps that make sense to you. I have never been a proponent of memorization. I have developed a "Concept-Application" teaching style where I want to explain the "why" behind the numbers. I enjoy keeping the lesson plan interactive and engaging. I might even use some examples from the tech industry or climate change to illustrate how the concepts are used in the "real world." Whether you are working on the logic of a programming language or working through the concepts of calculus, I will make sure to pace the lesson to your individual learning style.

Aside from that, I am very committed to what I call a "humane" approach to teaching. I maintain high academic standards but also ensure that our classroom is a place where you feel comfortable asking a question no matter how trivial.
