Since I graduated from IB DP, I am familiar with academic writing, and tips and tricks useful for remembering and solving questions of listening and reading comprehension. It is possible to help you prepare for English part of SAT, especially reading comprehension part. Other ways to interact suppose helping you with struggles with homework, academic assignments, proofreading papers, suggestions in academic writing, helping you formulate your thoughts.
I prefer fun practical environment that will awaken intuitive thinking and problem solving skills, because learning can be fun. The materials I prepare can be flexible based on the aim you are willing to work for. I am a strong believer in individual approach and discussing an discovering best learning tactics. Mistakes can be fixed, there is no need for fear or frustration in case of struggle. Big emphasis is put on argumentation and critical thinking, changing points of view and broadening one's own perspective. When it comes to higher levels of speaking, I put emphasis on vocabulary as well. Language can have many shades and I try to teach colorful expression, which requires a broad vocabulary. We can practice academic writing, but also slang, switching accents, discussing tv shows and keep the fun going.
I have experience in tutoring my peers, but have also worked with children (4-18 years of age) in other teaching context.
Lessons can be done in Person and Online. In person lessons are limited to Padova.
Working hours are flexible.
