I am a passionate English teacher from Southern Africa (Lesotho), with over 3 years of experience teaching in the following capacities: Elementary School English Language Arts Teacher, ESL Instructor/Mentor for Adolescents, Summer camp ESL teacher, Kids music camp volunteer, and a facilitator for youth training workshops. This experience enhanced my passion and commitment to advancing education by sharing my knowledge and assisting students from all backgrounds.

I am a TEFL-certified teacher who understands very well the role of promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves and explore diverse ideas in English. My professional experience encompasses developing engaging lesson plans, adapting instructional materials, and utilizing assessment data to identify students' needs and improve their academic performance. I am adept at implementing structured educational systems that prioritize students’ success, and I firmly believe in the importance of supporting all students, especially those who may be academically challenged. My dedication to students' learning is evident in tutoring classes beyond school hours for students who require special attention. This experience improved my ability to multitask, remain organized, and deliver results. I also developed skills such as emotional intelligence, critical thinking, patience, dedication, and classroom management.

What makes teaching interesting is the opportunity it presents for one to curate lessons tailored to meet students’ needs. This connects with my teaching philosophy of student-centeredness, where every student feels valued and supported. I use a variety of 21st Century teaching strategies that encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Making lessons engaging by incorporating games, stories, visual aids, role plays, and collaborative tasks. I provide constructive feedback and assessments to help students track progress. My goal is not just to teach but to help students become confident and independent learners.
