Skills and Experience
I am a patient, motivated, and enthusiastic English tutor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. I have around one year of experience as a teacher at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, where I worked closely with students to develop their language proficiency and academic writing skills. I have also helped learners of various levels improve their speaking, listening, reading, and grammar through engaging, student-centered lessons. My strengths include creating a supportive learning environment and encouraging students to express themselves confidently in English.
How My Lessons Take Place
My lessons are interactive, personalized, and focused on your goals. Each class begins with a short warm-up activity or conversation to help you feel comfortable and confident. Then we move on to practical exercises, such as reading comprehension, speaking practice, listening activities, and vocabulary building, all tailored to your level and interests. I also use multimedia materials like videos, articles, and games to make learning enjoyable and effective. By the end of each lesson, you’ll feel more confident and fluent in using English in real-life situations.
