Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. I’m Yahia (Yaya), a language teacher and researcher with several years of experience helping learners move from memorizing English to truly using it. My lessons are built around clarity, interaction, and real communication, because language isn’t just grammar, it’s connection.

I approach each class with a balance of structure and flexibility. While I rely on solid frameworks in grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary, I always adapt to my students’ needs and goals. A typical lesson begins with short, engaging activities that activate what learners already know. Then, we work through guided practice using authentic materials, articles, dialogues, or short videos, to strengthen comprehension and fluency.

I often integrate critical thinking and creative tasks, encouraging students to express their ideas, tell stories, and reflect on cultural nuances. Mistakes are treated as tools for learning, not failures. I also like to end lessons with quick reflections so students can see their own progress and set goals for next time.
