Younes Kherrouf

Hi! My name is Younes, and I’m a native Arabic speaker from Algeria. I teach Arabic online to children, teenagers, university students and adults. I offer Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) as well as Algerian Arabic, and I welcome complete beginners as well as learners who already know some Arabic.
My lessons are friendly, practical and adapted to each student’s level, age and goals. If you are starting from zero, we can gradually build your vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and basic conversation skills. If you already speak or understand some Arabic, we can focus more on conversation, fluency, pronunciation and real-life situations.
For children, I make lessons interactive and enjoyable by using stories, pictures, games, vocabulary activities and simple conversations. I understand that children learn better when they are actively involved rather than simply memorising information.
For teenagers and adults, I focus on useful Arabic that can be applied outside the classroom. We can practise everyday conversations, travelling, introductions, family, shopping, work, university and other topics that match your interests.
Before starting, I like to understand your current level and your goals. This allows me to prepare lessons that are neither too easy nor too difficult. I also provide learning materials and exercises that you can use between lessons.
