Youssef Metekhkhem

I've had quite an exciting journey so far! I had the honor of serving as the head student at Al Nahrawan High School for three consecutive years, which not only demonstrated my commitment but also highlighted my leadership skills. During my time there, I achieved a graduation mark of 15/20 in the natural science section, showing my dedication to academic excellence.

Moving on to higher education, I earned my Bachelor's degree in English studies from Hassan II University, with a major in American cultural studies. My studies included in-depth exploration of American literature, novels, and short stories, as well as a focus on oral communication, body language, and political correctness.

My academic journey also delved into the world of business management, where I explored various aspects of business perspectives and learned from the successful stories of prominent companies. One notable achievement was my research project on American franchises established in Morocco, which earned me a mark of 13/20.

I didn't stop at academics alone. I actively participated in various workshops and programs, including the Fulbright Caravana workshop, Women's Leadership Virtual Exchange, and the "Hna W Miricane" workshop, celebrating the enduring American-Moroccan relationship.

Furthermore, I delved into the world of creative writing through the Words & Pictures workshop and took a course led by American writer Bob Eckhart. I also completed a teaching program through Hassan Al-Youssi school, which deepened my understanding of education.

My thirst for knowledge led me to participate in the "Crossing Divides around the Globe" training program, offered by The British Council and BBC channel, and engage in various workshops and courses in digital marketing, Google Analytics, and project management.

In terms of work experience, I served as a sales manager from 2014 to 2018. Advising customers on style, fashion trends, and color choices was a significant part of my role. I was proud to receive the award for the best sales manager in 2015 and 2017 while also being responsible for brand accounting.

As a freelance photographer from 2016 to 2020, I covered major expos in Jeddah city and had the privilege of capturing consulates' ceremonies, including national days and holidays.

I also contributed to education as a trained teacher at Hassan Al Youssi Middle School, where I addressed students' language and grammatical challenges and utilized effective PowerPoint presentations to enhance their learning experience.

My journey has been diverse, challenging, and rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in various fields.
