In my role as an English Teacher both as a freelancer and in the educational institutions I have worked for several institutions. I proved to be an efficient, devoted, enthusiastic, strong, and principled teacher. According to my training program as an English Teacher at Marmara University and my working experiences I have gained so far, I aim to maximize and improve the language learning and teaching especially globally. My objective as a teacher is to foster and maintain a positive learning environment for all students including supplying them appropriate materials for their learning. Along with my on-the-job experiences has afforded me a set of skills including first-rate communication and motivational skills since these are major skills required for the 21st century learning-teaching procedure.
I have also implemented positive changes in my own lessons with the aim of serving my students in the best way I can. Apart from my experiences as a teacher, I have also attended to Work & Travel Program to experience the American Culture closely and I have been in the US for three months for working and travelling. I believe that exploring, learning, and teaching are interrelated and therefore I maintain my desire to explore, travel, work and learn new things.
Last but not the least, I put my mind and soul into doing a master’s degree in English Linguistics in Ca'Foscari University in Venice, which I believed is the major department in language studies. I have also longed to investigate how people acquire knowledge about languages, how this knowledge interacts with other thought processes, how it varies between speakers with various regional backgrounds, and how to model this knowledge.
To sum up, I can say that being a teacher basically means being a life-time learner therefore I devote myself to teach and learn throughout my life.
