Insegnante di francese bilingue con esperienza pluriennale

My husband and I have been studying French with Manuela for 6 months and have been really happy. We lived in Paris for 18 months before meeting Manuela so we had some basic skills but we had stagnated and were not improving. Since meeting Manuela we have felt steady progression, meeting with her 1-2 times per week. She is patient but pushes us and has a unique ability to be able to cater her teaching style to instruct both of us together so that each of us gets to practice our unique areas for development. We highly recommend her!

I am a false beginner in Italian and I was looking for Italian lessons that will get me up to speed quickly and above all which will adapt to my heterogeneous level ( I understand and read very well but almost impossible to speak when I started) and this is what I found with Manuela! She not only perfectly tailor the lessons to my individual needs but she quickly spots my weaknesses and make me work on it so I can improve faster. I only take one lesson per week but was quite impressed how I've improved in few months. Her in-depth knowledge of both English and French is also a real plus for a French native who spent her life abroad speaking English like me. She find similarities in these two languages to help me understand complicated rules. Highly recommended!

Manu rocks! I strongly recommend taking classes with Manu, she is very skilled, a perfectionist at heart, always on time. She helps you learn French at your own pace, explain things in detail, never gets tiered to repeat if necessary, and what I found absolutely unique is that she has the ability to handpick the areas you need to improve and goes in depth. Last but not least, she loves to teach and it SHOWS! I would have given her 6 stars if I could.

When I began classes with Manuela, I already had a good amount of French under my belt. I couldn’t stop seizing up whenever someone tried to engage in conversation with me in French. Manuela tailored her lesson plans to my individual needs and goals. With her patience and guidance, we worked on my spontaneity and fluidity through various exercises and activities. Complicated grammar structures felt more and more organic. Even after having returned to the US, Manuela has become an essential part of my week, and I always look forward to her classes! Could not recommend her enough.

I've always had issues staying motivated when taking French classes but taking classes with Manu has been really fun and interactive. She is not only super friendly and fun to talk to but also really makes an effort to help her students in the best and most efficient way possible. She adjusts her classwork really well to a student's individual needs and always goes the extra mile to correct homework or questions outside of class. She's also open to suggestions and ideas and makes her classes an engaging experience for everyone (I've been taking group classes with her). I moved to Paris from the UK two years ago with no French skills whatsoever. I started teaching myself, but I wasn’t making much progress at all and I found it difficult to stay motivated, so I decided to start 1-1 French lessons with Manuela and haven’t looked back since. Manuela has been amazing in tailoring lessons to my specific needs and helping me overcome areas in which I struggle, such as grammar and speaking. Her enthusiasm and ability to keep lessons fun & engaging have kept me motivated to learn French and to constantly improve. We have done lessons together for one year now and I would not have been able to progress this significantly without her. I am now able to have conversations with my colleagues, read articles and feel much more integrated in French culture. Manuela puts a lot of effort into lesson preparations, as well as marking & providing detailed feedback on homework. No matter what level of French you have, I highly recommend Manuela!

My French Wife, 2 bilingual Daughters, and I moved to Paris from Brooklyn, NY last July. After 17 years of being married to a Frenchie, and 14 years of having French-speaking kids, you'd think I'd be speaking it pretty well. You'd be wrong! Manuela is really awesome. I've been doing 1 on 1 lessons with her since a few months before we moved, and my conversational French has continuously gotten stronger and stronger. It's a tough language, ridiculous at times (just wait until you get to 3rd group verbs!). I was always a lousy student, and it seems to me that that has not changed. I have work and the life of a married Father of 2 girls. I, like most, have a busy life. Manuela is patient, explains things clearly, and goes at my pace (which is like escargot speed). I pick up a little bit, a lightbulb moment, each session with her. I would strongly and enthusiastically recommend Manuela as a teacher to anyone who wants to learn or improve their French language skills!

Buongiorno, dopo diverse esperienze con insegnanti di Lingua Francese, poco o per nulla proficue, ho incontrato Manuela: finalmente una docente capace di insegnare una lingua straniera, in particolar modo preparata anche sulla mia lingua madre, l'Italiano; mi permetto di definire la metodologia utilizzata con me di tipo "contrastivo", efficiente ed efficace. Aggiungo che da 33 anni insegno Lingua e Letteratura Italiana nella scuola statale e quindi credo di poter fare una valutazione con un'approfondita conoscenza dell'argomento ed un approfondito esame di tutti (o quasi) gli elementi. Sono appagata, ho raggiunto risultati più che soddisfacenti.
