Hi there! My name is Felicia and I am a native English speaker and teacher with several years of experience and a diploma in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) as well as TESOL qualification.

I am a warm, engaging tutor that is creative at heart and brings a real-world experience to the classroom. Before I started teaching, I’ve worked in medical administration, so I understand the professional communication needs of students working in healthcare, customer service, and office environments - making my Business English lessons especially practical and relevant.
I am a flexible teacher that not only covers Business English, but also real-world communication, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation and general learning. I also cover topics like Marketing and Tourism.

My teaching methodology revolves around using a variety of engaging and practical materials to support my students' learning. These include real-life role-play scenarios (meetings, interviews, presentations), business email writing exercises, vocabulary-building activities, and listening comprehension using TED Talks, YouTube videos, and podcasts. I also use grammar support materials, pronunciation drills, and interactive speaking prompts to help build fluency and confidence.

The lessons are all about you- your needs and goals. I regularly provide personalized feedback and progress evaluations too!

During my teaching career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with adult learners from diverse backgrounds, including professionals, entrepreneurs, and adult beginners. I’ve taught both one-on-one and group classes online, tailoring each lesson to meet the unique needs of my students. Many of my students work in administrative, medical, and customer service fields, and I draw on my own professional background to make lessons relevant and effective for their careers and daily life.
