Hello there! My name is Sebastian and I am a native English speaker as well as teacher. My parents immigrated from Uruguay in South America to Canada just before I was born and it is one of many reasons why I became a teacher- I have developed a strong understanding of the challenges of learning and becoming proficient in a new language. Now I am sharing my expertise and helping students aged 6 years old all the way to 60 years old from many different parts of the world.

My lessons are tailored to the wants and needs of my students and, in general, include activities like warm-up exercises, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, grammatical accuracy training, conversation practice and expansion and more! I also use variety of different materials from various sources, for example word files, power point files, images, flash cards, videos and news articles for real-life language immersion.

Apart from teaching English for the last 16 years, I have 12 years of customer service experience, as well as experience in the finance industry. I also love to travel- I have visited nearly 20 countries, including South Korea and Japan, where I have also taught English.
