Having been fortunate enough to have had a fantastic education, I now revel in the opportunity to share this with others. I truly love teaching and believe that learning is imperative to enjoyment of life.

I have been teaching for 2 years, with one of these years being solely online, and during this time I have gained valuable experience. I have a CELTA (Cambridge certificate of teaching English to speakers of other Languages) and a certificate of higher education from the University of Edinburgh.

Having taught Cambridge exams for both these years I have a good knowledge and understanding of exam formats and syllabuses; therefore, I am able to teach great strategies to help you pass your exams! I can teach Movers (A1), Flyers (A2), Key (A2), Preliminary (B1), First (B2) and Advanced (C1).

I have also done training to prepare students for Trinity exams and I can help with preparation for various University exams.

My lessons are fun and dynamic and most importantly I am patient and helpful. I have experience working with children from the ages of 5 years old through to adults of all ages. Focus during general English lessons is mostly on speaking, with some reading or listening exercises to stimulate conversation. Grammar points are also covered in most lessons. Writing is an important skill for exams such as Cambridge and Trinity so if you would like writing homework, I can give you some and then I will mark it between lessons. I am enthusiastic and reliable.
