Hello, my name’s Rosie and I’m an Australian currently living and working in Italy. It’s now 2023 and I’ve been an online English teacher for three years. Prior to that time, I worked for many different public and private schools in the Abruzzo region, Italy preparing students for Cambridge exams from levels A2 – C2.
After my Bachelor of Law in 1996, I went on to work for two national companies in Western Australia before moving to Italy when I was 29 years of age after receiving Italian residency. Not long after settling into my new environment, I started working as an English teacher. During the years of my teaching career, I did many courses with exams to finally reach my current level.
I have an eclectic approach when teaching where I enjoy combining various methods depending on the aims of the lessons which are adapted to suit the requirements of each learner.
The four language skills of speaking, listening, writing and reading are applied in different ways during each lesson by using a variety of activities obtained from English language books, teacher training courses and free information gathered from the internet.
