My name is Serena (but you can call me Sere) and I would be extremely happy to be your next online Italian teacher!

By way of introduction: I am thirty years old and Italian by nationality. My academic background includes a degree in Comparative Literature with a specialisation in Linguistics, complemented by coursework in Social, Psychological and Pedagogical Sciences, as well as a Certificate in the development of Italian L2 teaching materials for foreign learners. Throughout my professional experience, I have accumulated five years of teaching: I began by teaching Italian to migrant people, before going on to work as a full-time teacher of Italian, History and Geography at two schools.

Alongside teaching, I have long been passionate about international humanitarian volunteering, with a focus on child protection and educational activities. Online teaching represents for me the ideal way to bring together these two worlds I care deeply about. I am currently based abroad, in South America, to be precise. However, I would like to emphasise that the social project that brought me here has recently come to an end, and I have no humanitarian missions planned in the coming months: I can therefore offer both flexibility and consistency.
