Hello! My name is Anna, but you can call me Anya 😊
I’m originally from Moscow, Russia, and I currently work in Rome as a language tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience.
I hold a degree in Foreign Languages (Italian and English) and Intercultural Communication from HSE University, and a Master’s degree in Marketing & Digital Communication from LUMSA University in Rome.
I know firsthand how challenging it can be to start speaking a foreign language—fear, uncertainty, and the language barrier are things I’ve experienced myself. Everything changed for me after my first language course abroad, when I realized how important it is to study with a teacher who motivates, inspires, and adapts to each student’s needs. Making mistakes is part of the process, and every small success matters.
That experience led me to linguistics and teaching, and today I help students learn languages in an engaging way, always connected to the culture behind them.
I support students in following their study programs, improving grammar, conversation skills, pronunciation, and expanding vocabulary, using proven materials such as Outcomes, Cambridge, Gurevich, Destination, Navigate, The Business, Bueno, Nuovo Progetto Italiano, and Nuovo Contatto Italiano.

I completed an intensive English language course at OISE Badminton Language School in Bristol.
I worked as a volunteer assistant and translator at the Students International Exhibition.
I held the position of Mentor and Event Manager Assistant at the International Summer University at HSE. My responsibilities included supporting the adaptation of international students to both the university and the city, handling emergency situations, and assisting in the organization and delivery of social and cultural events.
I completed an intensive course in Italian language and culture (60 lessons) at DILIT International House in Rome.
I worked as an Event Manager Assistant (Intern) at Galion Company, where my daily responsibilities included communicating with international clients, preparing and coordinating invitations for regional and foreign clients to the international MosBuild Exhibition, managing supplier contracts, and translating documentation and catalogs from English and Italian.
I currently work for a tourism agency in Rome
