Cibel is an amazing teacher, balancing a kind and compassionate personality with driven and purposeful work to help students perfect their technique and achieve tasteful musical ideas. While studying with her, I learned Bach's second cello suite (transposed for viola) which she helped me to get performance ready, enabling me to succeed in my audition and get accepted into a top-tier, prestigious youth orchestra: Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra.
In addition to being a serious teacher for advanced musicians, her kind nature also makes her a perfect fit for students that are looking to study music just as an enjoyable hobby, or for younger students in search of a fun viola/violin experience.
Her instruction has proven invaluable in helping me to become the musician I am today and it is clear to anyone that works with her that she is dedicated and possesses a genuine love both for music and teaching it to others.
