My name is Martina Gelmi, and I am a 28-year-old professional with a strong passion for writing and communication. From the age of 11, I began traveling abroad on my own to participate in summer programs in both the UK and the USA, which were focused on strengthening my English language skills. These early experiences helped me develop independence, resilience, and a deep appreciation for clear and effective communication.

I have since cultivated a diverse background in both academic and professional environments. During my studies at Politecnico di Milano, I collaborated with an international team of professors and students on various research and writing projects, allowing me to hone a writing style that is both clear and adaptable for diverse audiences.

Additionally, I have worked as a web editor for Domusweb, where I was responsible for writing and editing articles in English, creating engaging content for a global audience. This role refined my ability to meet tight deadlines while adhering to high editorial standards.

Most recently, I served as Chief Design Officer at Billding, an Italian fintech startup, where I led an international design team. In addition to overseeing design operations, I was also responsible for managing communication and content creation, presenting our brand to an international audience. This role provided me with valuable experience in shaping brand messaging and developing creative content strategies for a global market.

I am excited about the possibility of contributing as a strongly passionated English Teacher.
