Hello, my name’s Rosie and I’m an Australian currently living and working in Italy. I've been an online English teacher since February 2020. Prior to that time, I worked for many different public and private schools in the Abruzzo region of Italy preparing students for Cambridge exams from levels A2 – C2 as well as Legal English and Business English.
I have an eclectic approach when teaching where I enjoy combining various methods depending on the aims of the lessons which are adapted to suit the requirements of each learner.
The four language skills of speaking, listening, writing and reading are applied in different ways during each lesson by using a variety of activities obtained from English language books, teacher training courses and free information gathered from the internet.
The English language has changed drastically over the centuries. Knowing English not only broadens a student’s mind, but it can also increase your chances of finding work, it allows you to communicate in a global context and it opens the door to top universities around the globe.
