I speak fluent Spanish, and I spoke fluent Portuguese when living in Brasil despite never taking formal language classes. A language you learn by using it. My approach is learning by using and not being afraid of making mistakes. The more mistakes you make, the more we can fix. Hopefully, I will speak fluent Italian after a while!!
