I am an experienced teacher of the English language as I have worked for 27 years as ESL teacher on all levels from Junior High School , Senior High, Universtiy and Business levels in both Brazil and Mexico. I still live in Mexico but I have the intention to move back to Europe and why not... to Italy? I feel at home anywhere in Europe.

I strongly believe that language is learned by using it frequently and I talk from my own experience. I am bilingual by nature as I was born in Sweden by Finnish parents. Then I acquired both English and German in school. When travelling and living abroad, I learned to speak both Portuguese and Spanish despite the fact I never took formal classes of neither of the two languages. The secret with language is to use it with high frequency, listen to native speakers by using podcasts, TV shows and programmes and reading the lyrics while listening to music. It is not always easy to travel abroad but finding people who speak no Italian is also a very good way of acquiring confidence and the ability to use English colloquially. I have plenty of topics to talk about and I am willing to listen to what you as a student have to share as of experiences and thoughts about different topics of life.

I also teach literature, oratory and debate, as well as being a coach of declamation and I am a big music fan and I love sports... specially football.
