In my classes, you can expect a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where your well-being is my priority. I begin each session by understanding how you are feeling physically and mentally, so the practice can be tailored to your needs that day.
My lessons are structured yet flexible. We start with gentle warm-up movements to prepare the body, followed by guided asana practice focusing on alignment, breath awareness, and mindful movement. I integrate pranayama (breathing techniques), relaxation, and short meditation to reduce stress and improve mental clarity. When appropriate, I also incorporate elements of laughter yoga and mindfulness practices to create a positive and uplifting experience.
As a PhD-qualified yoga professional specializing in therapeutic and evidence-based practices, I focus not just on physical postures but on the connection between body and mind. I explain the purpose behind each movement so students understand how it benefits their strength, flexibility, posture, stress levels, and overall health.
My goal is that every student leaves feeling calmer, stronger, and more confident than when they arrived. Whether you are a beginner or experienced practitioner, my teaching style ensures you feel supported, respected, and empowered in your practice.
