I love teaching English through art and culture – we'll read interesting texts together, discuss art history and talk about culture in a way that builds real, lasting language skills.

I use what I learnt from working in curation and art education to help my students. For a few years I worked closely with art students, helping them put on their annual degree exhibitions — reviewing and selecting their work, writing about it, and helping build their public profile through press coverage and audience engagement. I also developed digital exhibition platforms to showcase student portfolios to a wider audience.

So, I'm really pleased to work with students preparing applications to art schools — whether for curating, art management, or fine art programmes. I can review your portfolio, help you write personal statements or project descriptions, and prepare you to talk confidently about your work in English.
