I am a native English speaker born in the United States of America and have been living and teaching in the European Union since 2010.

A graduate of Anthropological Linguistics from Agnes Scott College, a translator and a learner of many languages myself, I have a deep passion for language and teaching. During my years of teaching high school from as well as many short-term tutoring jobs since, I have worked with hundreds of students to gain a general and useful command of the English language, prepare for exams, presentations and college entrance exams. I have also taught groups of young children, engaging them with the language through play, crafts and music.

I have grown a knack for working with the students’ specific interests and abilities to motivate them in their studies. My teaching methods incorporate a wide range of subject matter to help students deepen their linguistic knowledge and strengthen their ability to recall and use it.

The classes I give are immersive as much as possible to offer the students the opportunity to process information entirely in English, intensifying the learning experience for quick language acquisition.
