I am Antonio Quaranta and I have a Political Science background with a recent Master Degree in Global Economic Governance and Public Affairs at Luiss International University of Rome. Currently, I work as Infrastructure Resources Assistant in NATO NCIA, Brussels. I work for the Business area helping to reach the strategic objectives through approved prioritisation processes, using specific internal tools. I use to work with officials, management and diplomatic staff assisting the negotiations and the budgetary planning and management.
I was a Schuman Trainee at the European Parliament from February until August 2023. In particular, I was working for DG ITEC as Communication Officer. Notably, I was in charge of corporate projects, managing the external and internal communications among the IT and MEPs involved, drafting and editing documents and plenaries when needed, reviewing the information present across the internal tools, managing the CRM and the communications through internal and external stakeholders and EU Officials.
Speaking of my background, my professional education has been deeply marked by challenging experience. I have concluded a Master's Degree in Global Economic Governance and Public Affairs at LUISS International University of Rome which was held in collaboration with CIFE (Centre International De Formation Européenne) both in Berlin and France. In particular, I have attended three different programs based on "Global Governance" in Rome, working with ambassadors and United Nations researchers; "Sustainable Development” in Berlin, working with researchers and professors from private foundations, UN employees, EU and UN World Food Program managers; and finally "Policy Intelligence" in Nice, where I have attended courses held by members of the European Commission. I obtained the qualification of Policy Officer in European and International Organizations.
I feel comfortable with dealing with inconveniences, events and occurrences, as I feel I have a good problem-solving approach. Additionally, I feel I am able to plan and organize my tasks in a structured manner, in order to respect priorities and deadlines. I feel I can produce results that are in line with the highest expectations of my superiors.
I'm open to share my knowledge in history, geopolitics, geography and topics related to international relations.
