I use a learner-centred and communicative approach to make online English lessons practical, engaging, and relevant to each student’s goals. At the beginning of a lesson, I create a relaxed atmosphere through a short conversation or warm-up activity. I then introduce the lesson objective and connect it to real-life situations, such as everyday conversations, school, work, travel, or social interactions.
My lessons may include guided conversations, visual prompts, vocabulary activities, pronunciation drills, grammar practice, role-plays, reading tasks, and short writing exercises. I encourage students to participate actively rather than simply listen, while providing clear explanations and examples when they need support. For younger learners, I use songs, games, picture prompts, phonics activities, and repetition to make learning enjoyable and help them build confidence.
I adapt my teaching to each learner’s age, level, interests, and communication needs. I also monitor progress carefully and adjust activities when a student needs more practice or a greater challenge. During speaking activities, I allow students time to express themselves before offering correction. I provide constructive feedback by highlighting strengths, correcting important errors, and giving practical guidance for improvement.
My experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults has helped me develop strong classroom management, communication, and adaptability skills. I aim to create a safe, patient, and inclusive online environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing their English step by step. My goal is for every learner to leave each lesson feeling more confident and able to use English in real-life communication.
