My name is Cecilia Farina,
I was born and raised in a little town in the South of Italy, then sent away to explore the outer world.
I’ve been in New Zealand when I was 16 with an Intercultural Exchange Program. I lived in a host family for some months and it opened complete new horizons to my young mind.

Within me I felt the desire to grasp all the cultures and languages of the world at once.
I’ve studied and fell in love with three new languages, literatures and cultures during my Bachelor in Bari.
At the same time I’ve always brought on the study of the Piano at the Conservatory, which I started when I was a kid, It gave me discipline, confidence, and a chance to express my inner feelings with the wordless language of music.
My passion for International Relations could find its way during the Master’s Degree, where I really could try myself with Law, History, Political Economics.
My professional experiences have been various : I started working as a receptionist in a 4 star hotel where I could refine my linguistic and hosting abilities with the public, but I financed my studies mainly giving private lessons of English, French,, Piano music to students of different ages and institutes.
I’ve had the chance to start managing a real estate on my own,,: I dealed with financial, budgeting, marketing, managerial aspects.
At the same time I’ve kept pursuing an artistic career, playing piano in front of large audiences in various theatres, developing acting, oratory, singing skills.
Some days I’ve worked as a carpenter in the morning and as a pianist in solo performance in the evening.
My dream is to become one day a diplomat, bringing the acquired knowledge in Economics, Finance, Law and Human Rights together with my knowledge of Arts and Cultures, to let these competences serve where they are needed.
Cecilia
