I like to provide dynamic lessons to students, in order to make many references to the outside world so that the language becomes natural for them; I can also provide formal lessons for school exams, certifications, and professional-level courses for workers/professionals.
I generally use slides and printable material so that the students have a reference after the lecture without having to take notes during the lesson.
I usually give tasks to complete for the next session so that we can check if what we have learned has been understood before proceeding with the next topic.
I also provide conversation classes for students and professionals. With students, I generally tend to talk about everyday life situations, using the grammar skills the students are getting familiar with at the moment; with professionals, I generally prefer to decide with them what topic they need to focus on or if they need a general refresh before we start with something specific.
I am also used to working with kids of any age; we generally sing songs during the early years and use many pictures to remember some vocabulary; with primary school kids, I generally start providing grammar rules they have to follow giving them some tasks to complete in between our lessons so we can make sure that what we have covered is fully understood.
I have also provided courses to the elderly who maybe before a vacation abroad, want to learn some basics for their trips. It becomes very useful, especially if you go to a country where English is not widely spoken!
