Ciro De Martino

Ciro is a wonderful and patient teacher who takes the time to teach each of his students what they need to know. Whether you’re a beginner who has little or no knowledge of Italian or someone like me who has studied Italian for many years but needed a refresher course, Ciro designs an individual program for each student to teach them grammar, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions and how to successfully communicate with the Italians they meet while traveling or doing business in Italy. Because Ciro lives in Florence, he is very knowledgeable about the city’s museums and monuments and offers individualized tours of the city both in English and Italian. I took one of Ciro’s tours of Florence by night, and, even though I have been to Florence many times, I learned many things I did not know. Now that I am back in New York, I am working with Ciro remotely to improve my command of Italian grammar and vocabulary. My Italian has improved dramatically since I started working with Ciro!
