Dean Connolly

My name is Dean, and I'm originally from Ireland. I am now currently living in working in Turin, Italy. I am a qualified English teacher with several years of experience teaching students of all levels in both group and 1-on-1 settings. I specialize in helping learners improve their speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and exam preparation skills (such as IELTS and Cambridge exams). I also have a background in creative communication and technology, which allows me to design engaging, interactive lessons that are both practical and fun. I’ve taught students from all over the world and adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs and goals.

My lessons are student centred, supportive, and goal-focused. Each session is carefully planned to suit your level and interests, while also helping you build confidence in real-world communication. We will focus on speaking and listening through natural conversation, role-plays, vocabulary building, and pronunciation exercises. I’ll also include useful grammar tips and corrections along the way to help you speak more accurately and fluently.

You’ll receive regular feedback and materials to review outside of lessons, and we’ll work together to track your progress over time. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, moving abroad, or just want to speak more confidently, I’ll help you reach your goals step by step.
