As a dedicated and experienced educator and teaching professional with a varied teaching, volunteering, and leadership profile, over the past eighteen years of my professional teaching career, I have sought to meaningfully educate students from around the world in both English language and critical thinking skills as well as in basic interpersonal and life skills. The majority of my teaching experience has been focused on preparing students with the English academic skills necessary to flourish in an English-speaking academic environment as well as teaching students academic English skills in a university setting.

Previous teaching jobs in the USA, South Korea, and Germany, have allowed to me to be exposed to students and cultures from around the world, and to help them reach their goals and improve their ability to learn and study effectively, as well as to help create better communication between cultures through education and learning. I have taught students, designed curricula and testing materials, helped students develop the skill set to effectively self-study, as well as been involved in tutoring, training, and mentoring other teachers and students. Being an active participant in coordinating with fellow teachers and administration to best create a good learning environment is incredibly important to my teaching and learning philosophy, as well as helping students have the best tools and skills to learn effectively and meet their goals.
