Esther Osikoya

Hello! My name is Ester, and I am passionate about helping students excel in Mathematics and STEM subjects. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Ilorin and a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Ibadan. I am currently pursuing Applied Data Science at the University of L’Aquila, with an exchange program at the University of Tampere.
Over the years, I have taught Mathematics in different secondary schools, where I developed the ability to simplify challenging topics and make them engaging for students. Beyond classroom teaching, I run my own online tutoring service, reaching learners globally and supporting them in subjects such as Algebra, Calculus, Probability, and Statistics. I also teach postgraduate learners advanced Statistics, helping them apply statistical techniques in research and professional practice.
My academic and professional experience bridges traditional mathematics with modern applications. I have worked on projects in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, fraud detection, and volatility prediction, which allow me to connect theory with real-world contexts. This approach helps students see the practical value of what they are learning and motivates them to achieve more.
