I fell in love with my native language Italian in a completely unexpected way during my first assignment abroad, in China. So far I grew a genuine passion for Italian teaching, practicing in public and private schools. For 6-7 years I've been meeting many students online and I wided my horizons. I learned to appreciate the great opportunity the net gives us all and I learned how face and overcome the many obstacles and distrust that my students may have towards tecnology.
Over time I have specialized in teaching - although not exclusively - to English-speakers and Spanish-speakers.
I'm a language learner at first (European languages and Chinese language), I have a Master Degree in Interculturality and a specialization in Didactics of Italian as a mother tongue, foreign language and second language (CEDILS).
My teaching method puts a strong emphasis on communication and the importance of personalizing the student's learning path: the learner chooses his favorite themes and shares the goals he/she intends to reach! I pay great attention to the emotional sphere, a fundamental key for achieving goals in an effective and lasting way!
I started teaching in 2008 and the story continues :-)
