Ilaria Cardia

My name is Ilaria Cardia, and I am an Italian language teacher for foreign learners with a solid background in communication, language, and culture. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Cagliari, where I graduated with top honors (110/110), specializing in media writing, argumentation, and intercultural communication.

For three years, I collaborated with a regional news outlet, gaining hands-on experience in professional writing, language editing, and adapting content for different audiences. This experience, combined with my academic background, has equipped me with valuable tools to teach Italian in a clear, practical, and effective way.

My lessons are designed for adult learners of all levels and are based on a communicative approach, tailored to each student’s real-life needs. I alternate between guided conversation, targeted grammar exercises, listening and reading activities, and short videos, using authentic materials and personalized worksheets. I place great importance on linguistic accuracy, but also on natural expression and cultural understanding.

Lessons are available both in person in Alghero and online, with flexible scheduling. My goal is to create a motivating and supportive learning environment where every student feels comfortable and engaged in their language journey
