Inspired by my mother, who is also a teacher of English, I started sharing knowledge with others at a very young age. Before exams' period, I was always helping my classmates to revise by suggesting some useful strategies and tips. In my fisrt year at university as an EFL student, I started to provide lectures and repetitions in English for both middle school and high school students. After graduation, I enrolled in a PhD in didactics and I started lecturing at University. I have experience with teaching not only English as a Foreign language but also English for Business and Technical English. My teaching methodology is based on innovation, adequacy and entertainment!
In the first session, I always make sure to know about three important things: my learners' level in English, weaknesses and objectives. These three components are, for me, the pillars of any language course. Thus, the starting point is to make a small language proficiency test, which content depends on the level of the learners. This allows me to tailor my teaching content providing the bits of English needed by each learner.
My teaching methodology is flexible in the sense that I am always open to discussion and the course content is always negociable. This allows for better teaching/learning process to take place. Undestanding my learner's objectives and helping him/her to reach them is my mission that I do with a great enthusiasm!
