Joel Gumede

With over 13 years of dynamic teaching experience across media, communication, and educational development, my focus from 2014 to 2025 has been centered around empowering over 2,000 learners globally. My unique journey bridges creative methods acquired from the media industry into the communication and education space.

From lecture halls to immersive workshops with children across Italy, I’ve helped shape and inspire young minds through applied learning. I’ve also made a significant impact by transferring these skills to English language teachers across Italy through EFL support and training. A defining chapter of my career has been traveling extensively throughout the country, often weekly, to meet and train new groups of Italian students and educators.

Additionally, I have immersed myself in the Asian educational landscape and found a sense of family and community across Southeast Asia. These diverse educational experiences have allowed me to refine methods for improving learner retention—particularly for children aged 5 to 15—by using English not only as a language but as a vehicle for teaching subjects like Life Sciences and Natural Science.

Bringing together all these elements, my background in media has proven to be a valuable resource in the development of engaging, effective English-language education for young learners.
