Lavinia Rossi

I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages at UNINT, Università degli Studi Internazionali di Roma. I successively took a master degree at Ca’ Foscari university in Venice, specifically in Intercultural Development of Tourist Systems.
My academic and work background have rendered me a fluent English speaker, allowing me to hold the position of English teacher for the past two in years in a private school.
I am able to deliver classes of grammar ranging from B1 level to C1, speaking, reading comprehension and vocabulary classes. I am used to teaching in classrooms with about 20/30 students, who are usually 19 or 20 years old.
I enjoy using creative methods of teaching a foreign language, trying to adapt it on account of the individual needs of the students, who are always a priority for me.
As a non-native speaker, I focused my education programs on pinpointing strategies which may help Italian students to really understand and learn English as a second language.
I have strong communication skills, as well as emotional intelligence skills. I consider the ability to recognize and understand students’ emotions to be essential, in order to really make them grow and foster their capabilities.
I am a problem solver whenever there is necessity to find a solution quickly, punctual and highly reliable when it comes to planning, organization and optimizing time and resources.
I am proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom Meetings and Skype, which I learned to use efficiently throughout the Covid-19 pandemic months.
