I've been tutoring for five years now and I have experience getting through to kids, teenagers and adults. Learning three languages have taught me a lot and my goal now is to implement what I learned with how I learned it into teaching anyone who reaches out. My strategy is quite simple and structured, and it begins with a lot of revision work, because repetition is key in learning any language, then moving on to reading because speaking the words out loud gives the student confidence in how they would speak later on and a bit of dictation so the words spoken and heard can be set in stone. I like to end it with some new material, that way it stays fresh in their minds for the next lesson.
