I am currently a student at Bocconi University in Milan, completing a Bachelor's degree in International Politics and Government. I have an international educational background, having attended six international schools across Europe and studied primarily in English for many years.
I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in English, including English Language and Literature, and I continue to study and work academically in English at university. Growing up in international environments has also exposed me to people from many different countries, cultures, accents, and ways of communicating.
I have some previous informal tutoring experience, particularly helping my younger step-brothers and classmates with English. I enjoy explaining ideas clearly and creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and gradually building confidence.
I can support students with speaking, pronunciation, listening, vocabulary, spelling, writing, grammar, presentations, homework, academic English, and general conversational confidence. Lessons can be structured around specific exercises and objectives or conducted more naturally through conversation, depending on the student's goals and preferred learning style.
I am particularly comfortable working with school and university students, although I am happy to work with learners of different ages and backgrounds.
In addition to English, I am fluent in Russian and can also offer Russian language support. My approach is friendly, flexible, practical, and adapted to the individual student rather than following the same method for everyone.
I also believe that learning a language should be useful in real life, not only in textbooks. I therefore try to connect lessons to situations students may actually encounter, such as university presentations, travel, conversations with international friends, interviews, or professional communication. My goal is to help students become not only more accurate, but also more natural and confident when using English in everyday situations.
