Melisa

Hi there!
My name is Melisa, I am 34 years old and I am an English teacher. I grew up in North Carolina, USA and am currently living in Argentina.

I have been giving ESL lessons for over 10 in person and online. I worked in person in different institutes and I have also taught at different elementary schools to kids of all ages.

During the pandemic I started working for a company giving online English lessons and have been doing that ever since. But, I mostly have given one on one lessons focusing on the special needs of each student.
That is what I like to do, I like to help the student learn according to their needs and desires.
I use my personal experience of living in a foreign country and how I learned the language. Since I was just a kid when I moved to the United States I am bilingual.
I enjoy helping my students learn new ways of applying the material studied in class and keeping a relaxed environment, making it easier to learn and to remember key points and ideas not usually taught about the English language. I also help my students with pronunciation.

I will show you the culture and how that can help you when learning the language, in a faster and simple way you will remember.
I will do my best to show you helpful tips to keep practicing even when we're not in a lesson.
