Hello and welcome!

My name is Öykü, and I would love to be your English teacher. I studied English Language and Literature for my bachelor's degree, and now I'm doing my Master's in English and Anglo-American Studies at Sapienza University of Rome. English has always been my passion- not only as an academic subject but also as a way to connect with people from different cultures and help them express themselves with confidence.

I also hold an i-to-i TEFL certificate, which means I am trained in modern and inactive teaching methods. Over the past few years, I have taught English in different ways: I gave private online lessons to students from different backgrounds, and I also worked as a teacher at a language institution in Türkiye. These experiences taught me that every student is unique, and the best lessons are those that are personalized, fun, and motivating.
