I am an American private English teacher. I generally focus first on the grammar because I feel that it is important to have a strong grip on the grammar. I am an American private English teacher. I generally focus first on the grammar because I feel that it is important to have a strong grip on the grammar. While studying the grammar, we will also work on conversational English and pronunciation. When the student has a good understanding of English grammar, the focus then shifts to very formal English and perfecting all the student-specific mistakes that I have noticed. I have been teaching English to Italians for over 3 years and believe that I have a good method.
